El Clamor:  September 20-23 we had our second annual youth conference called ‘El Clamor’.  This conference focuses on the development of the praise and worship elements of ministry.  We were able to give away 2 guitars, drumsticks, and a number of other prizes.  The youth had time to seek God, and to encounter new ways in which they could serve the Lord in the worship/music/audio/visual ministry.

La Cosecha Youth

La Cosecha Youth

Why youth?  Those who have been following this ministry from the beginning can testify that the Lord is preparing an army of powerful young people.  Besides being an integral part in helping the youth find purpose and hope in life, many youth are dreaming about being builders in the kingdom of God.  In the next five years of so we will be able to see some of this fruit really show itself.

The beginning years of a church planting movement:  The beginning years of a church planting movement are key.  It takes time to clarify the spiritual DNA, develop a solid model church, spend the time mentoring people into key leadership roles, and keep the clear call to plant churches in the hearts and minds of the people.  These elements are present in the work here.  We are anxiously awaiting the time when we will begin releasing the church planters.  Continue to pray for many men and women to arise and become great church planters sent out from Saenz Pena, CHACO.

Thank you for the support you give in so many ways.  Together we are making a difference in people lives in Argentina.

To those who are a key part in helping reach souls in Argentina,
In August we celebrate kids day.  We had a great time investing in the children of LA COSECHA.  We are praying for helpers to build this area of the ministry so that we can reach the families for Christ.  Attached are a couple of photos of the celebration.

In Samuhu we have seen 3 young men be set totally free from drugs, Martin, Gualde, and Selson.  Continue to believe for miracles in the ministry here so that the Lord is glorified more and more!
Please be praying for our upcoming youth event, EL CLAMOR.  This will take place the 20-23 of September.  This year we are expecting at least double the amount of young people than we had last year.  Pray that they have fun in church and that they have a powerful encounter with Jesus Christ!
We want to thank you all for the many ways you support us.  Without your involvement we couldn’t do all that God has set before us here.  God bless you as you bless our lives and the people of northern Argentina.

To all our wonderful friends and family,

The past two months we have been facilitating what I call the ‘Family School’. This is a government approved course that is dealing with issues such as youth and sex, violence in the family, developing a child in the toddler stage, toxic addictions, and many other real life issues that affect the family. It has been interesting to hear some lively debate as the medical professionals and Christians tackle these difficult topics. It has been very educational, and we are looking forward to the next 4 months that the course still has to offer. Attached is a photo of the first class in July.

We recently added nine members to the church in Saenz Pena. La Cosecha has really matured this last year. The commitment level to Christ and to one another has really helped us get to a very healthy place as a church. Attached is a photo of the new members.

Leo is a young man who got delivered from demonic possession in June. He has been coming to church regularly. He had a real problem with drugs before, and the temptation to get back into that lifestyle has been strong. He has decided to commit himself to a year and a half Christian rehab program in another city. We are believing for him to find total freedom and to become the man of God that the Lord intends him to be.

We want to thank you all for the many ways you support us. Without your involvement we couldn’t do all that God has set before us here. God bless you as you bless our lives and the people of northern Argentina.

To all our incredible friends and family,

The church in Samuhu celebrated its 45th anniversary in June. We have been working there for 5 of those years. There is great expectation in the air there. We are continuing to pray that the leadership team there will really gel together and be able to build the church. There are smaller towns nearby that are asking for us to come and visit and to start investing the gospel into those places. We need to have stronger leadership and commitment in order to be able to do a good consistent work in those places. The harvest is ready, we are working on building up workers to go into the field.

We want to say thank you to City Harvest Church for sending down Jan Stahl, Shanda Harris, Sandy Phillips, and Noelle Mckinelly to minister to the churches here in Northern Argentina. They poured their hearts out on the people here. We had 13 meeting in 6 days, plus other counseling sessions. These ladies did a great Job. The people really experienced a spiritually awakening and are ready to serve the Lord with more enthusiasm. The body of Christ has been built up. Many people received prophetic words that will help them hone in on their destiny in Christ, many were released in their prayer language (one lady, Laura, started praying in English in her prayer language), a young man was delivered from a demon, and everyone learned a lot about the greatness of our Lord. Thank you ladies, we miss you already.

We want to thank you all for the many ways you support us. Without your involvement we couldn’t do all that God has set before us here. God bless you as you bless our lives and the people of northern Argentina.

To all our incredible friends and family,

A couple of months ago a young man named Hugo moved from Buenos Aires to Saenz Pena. He was getting away from a very destructive lifestyle there. He came to our church and he gave his heart to the Lord. He is learning how to follow Jesus. His great desire is to have a right relationship with Jesus. Continue to pray that the Lord will completely deliver him from past bondage and that he will be able to fulfill his destiny in Christ.

Alcides and Romina have been a wonderful couple in the church in Saenz Pena. Although they have had some up and down times, they are really pushing in to serve the Lord and grow in responsibility in the Kingdom of God. They have been hosting a small group in their house and now they want to transition that time to work with the kids in their neighborhood. Please pray that the Lord will use their lives in powerful ways! Attached is a picture of the small group in their house.

We want to say thank you to Steve and Cheri Rosier who were here visiting in May. They blessed our lives and the church here in many ways. One way in particular is that Steve worked very hard to install a hallway and partially complete a classroom. These were needed modification for the churches functioning, and they are also part of the project to start a pre-school. We are in awe of the provision that the Lord has brought up to this point. Now we wait on Him and His timing to continue forward. Attached are some pictures of the modifications.

We want to thank you all for the many ways you support us. Without your involvement we couldn’t do all that God has set before us here. God bless you as you bless our lives and the people of northern Argentina.

To all our incredible friends and family,

The last month and a half have been intense.  February was another full month with ministry training, and evangelism.  We had a week of training from an Argentine ministry that equips for evangelism and children’s/adolescent ministries.  This was a great week where 30 people got biblical and ministerial training.  Later in the month we put on a soccer tournament in one of the neighborhoods in Saenz Pena.  We had live music and a constant stream of mini sermons that sowed the word of God into at least 100 young people.  We are starting to see some of those young people come to the church.

On March 10th we put on a couples dinner to evangelize.  It was a beautiful time with games, videos, live music, a serious word for the couples and a full Dinner.  We had 18 couples with at least half of them being un-churched people.  Among many testimonies, one couple said that the word was like God speaking directly to them.  Another couple said that they have found peace and happiness again in their relationship and are pressing into God.  We are pleased that we could use this creative method to reach the couples of Saenz Pena.  (Unfortunately I only have a photo of the dinner preparations).

I (Anthony) will be in the USA from March 28- April 9.  I would love to connect with people and house churches the week of the 2nd – 8th.  Please feel free to write an email and we will get some meetings on the calendar.

A note to supporters.  The administrators are asking that we make sure to not write anything in the memo lines of the checks, instead if there could be a note attached saying ‘Rosier Mission’, the donations will be duly deposited.

We want to thank you all for the many ways you support us.  Without your involvement we couldn’t do all that God has set before us here.  God bless you as you bless our lives and the people of northern Argentina.

To all our incredible friends and family,

January has absolutely blitzed by and February looks like it could be a similar story.  Here are a number of activities that we did in January.

There is a neighborhood called San Cayetano where we have been leading a house church.  With a vision to do more evangelism in that area we decided to show Christian movies on a big screen twice in January.  This gathered a crowd of about 50 people from children to adults.  We are pleased, because the neighborhood is getting to know us and we are gaining favor with the people.  We are going to do an event with sports and music in February to continue plowing in that area.

We had been noticing a lot of our members talking about soul wounds and we decided to take the time to do two weekends of inner healing.  We focused on four areas of healing: Sin, Occult Participation, Wounds, and Spiritual Inheritance.  We believe that the Lord is freeing his people up to serve Him better and make a greater impact here in Saenz Pena.

Summer Camp was a powerful time for the youth to connect with God.  One of the reasons that we invest as much as we do in the youth is because we know that they are going to be the church planters in the next 5 to 10 years.  The youth are growing in their gifts and maturing in their lives.  We believe that God is preparing a generation to do wonderful works for the Lord throughout the earth.

We are pleased to announce that the Lord was faithful in that we were able to pay for the entrance division in the church.  This is the first step towards starting the kindergarten that we are hoping to start in March 2013.  We need to accomplish the other modifications by July 2012 in order to be ready for the 2013 school year.  We need to plaster walls, put in a classroom and fix the bathrooms.  It will take about about 50,000. dollars to accomplish all of the fix ups.  We believe that the Lord will be faithful.  We are going to sell used clothes in February to help pay for the fix ups, and soon we are going to sell bbq chicken bi-weekly to help pay for the modifications as well.  Continue to pray for these projects.  This is a way to build influence in our city and society.

We want to thank you all for the many ways you support us.  Without your involvement we couldn’t do all that God has set before us here.  God bless you as you bless our lives and the people of northern Argentina.

To all our incredible friends and family,

We just had our second year anniversary party as LA COSECHA here in Saenz Pena.  We had over 100 people at church last Sunday and we baptized 5 people with at least 3 who are very close to taking that step as well.  The Lord has been great to us this last year.  We have seen people come to Christ, seen miracles in families and bodies, grown deeper fellowship and unity in the church, developed maturity in the believers and much much more. Below are some pictures of the anniversary church service and the baptisms.

Even though we know that this next year will still be a year of hard plowing, we are expecting great things from the Lord and are going to attempt great things for Him.  Here are a list of dreams for the year 2012:

-Multiply House Churches

-See the church grow to a group steady over 100 members

-Implement a city wide Training Course for the evangelization of children (we are looking to do this in February)

-Implement a school for the family to educate and develop strong, intelligent, bible based families (this should start in June)

-Start ‘Harvest Institute’ to develop pastors and Church Planters

-Remodel the building we are in by midyear to start a pre-school in march 2013.  Estimated Cost is around 50,000.00 dollars

-Get a newer vehicle.  Used cars are expensive here, but retain their value well.  To get a real good utility vehicle we would need 10-15,000.00 dollars.

-Do monthly evangelism efforts (besides the continual oikos -sphere of influence- evangelism)

-Put on a  great summer camp

-Have a powerful youth worship retreat

-Develop the worship band

-See the leadership team in Samuhu really take the reins of the church and take it to a real place of strength and growth.

-Many many salvations

-See many leaders developed in Saenz Pena

-and all the many surprises that the Lord has in store for us

We want to thank you all for the many ways you support us.  Without your involvement we couldn’t do all that God has set before us here.  God bless you as you bless our lives and the people of northern Argentina.

To our incredible friends and family,

Since arriving back in Argentina we have been on an outreach spree.  We have been motivating the people to pray for and invite new people through a business card/track that we made.  This has been key to keeping the focus where it needs to be, on the lost!  Doing the work of an evangelist is a lifestyle that we must discipline ourselves to live.  Once we get used to it, it becomes naturally, and the fruit starts to blossom.  Please pray that LA COSECHA will be a church full of people with a  passion for the lost.

For Thanksgiving, we had students from a local English school come with their families for a thanksgiving presentation.  In this presentation we focused on giving thanks, obviously, and we took advantage of the opportunity to make the word of God very real and practical for many un-churched families.  We were able to sow into the lives of over 150 people.  We know that if we sow abundantly, that we will reap abundantly.  Attached are some pictures of the event.

On Saturday December 3rd we put on a children’s outreach in one of the outlying neighborhoods here in Saenz Peña.  This neighborhood is known for being one of the worst in the city.  We can confirm that the people who live there are in great darkness.  The drug and alcohol addictions are very strong, the families are in shambles and there is little or no desire to try and achieve something more in life.  It has been difficult working with a number of families in this neighborhood, but God has been faithful, and some people are really looking to God for change.  In this outreach that we did, we made it a special time for the kids and had a very creative gospel presentation.  We are inviting the families to come and take part in our 2nd anniversary as a church party next Sunday.  We are going to pick them up with a bus.  Please pray that the people will be drawn to the Lord, and that they will get connected with our church family and begin to grow.  There are also pictures attached of this outreach.

We want to thank you all for the many ways you support us.  Without your involvement we couldn’t do all that God has set before us here.  God bless you as you bless our lives and the people of northern Argentina.

To all our incredible friends and family,

This has been an exciting season for the church in Argentina.  In a busy political season the churches have joined together to pray and fast for 40 days for the country.  In Saenz Pena we have been participating in this national campaign.  There have been a couple of key activities that have been impacting here in our city.  1. We gathered around 3000 Christians in the main plaza one Sunday night to pray together as a Church.  2. We have been gathering in different churches each Monday evenings to pray as well.  One Monday night we had the churches praying together in our church.  This is exciting, because we believe that this is going to open the heavens for a powerful season with lives being touched and changed by the work of Jesus Christ all across Argentina.  Locally we are pleased that we are gaining a key role among the churches in Saenz Pena and building influence in our city.  Attached are a couple of pictures of the prayer meeting in our church.
In other news, we are waiting for Jessica’s passport and visa to get to us so that we can make it to the USA.  At best we had hoped to be in the USA by October 1st, but it looks like it will be closer to the 8th or 9th.  We will be there for about 3 weeks.  If anyone would like to get together we will try to be as available as possible to share about the great things that God has been doing in Argentina.  Soon we hope to have a phone number where you can reach us as well.
We want to thank you all for the many ways you support us.  Without your involvement we couldn’t do all that God has set before us here.  God bless you as you bless our lives and the people of northern Argentina.
